Sunshine City Scare 2026 is Florida’s Official Halloween Prequel, bringing together horror fans, cosplayers, creators, and Halloween enthusiasts for a full weekend of spooky entertainment on August 15-16 at the Hilton St. Petersburg Bayfront. The Halloween preparation event features the legendary Evil Ted, cosplay and lip sync contests, a Slash & Splash Pool Party, and shopping deals with vendors.
Throughout Sunshine City Scare, Cosplay/er will host a series of interactive experiences that allow attendees to become part of the film – all of which are free with an event ticket.
